Hugged not Mugged

The company I previously worked for has started moving all the tech people out to Napa.

California is beautiful and I know I could have a decent quality of life out there, but I was hugged by a UPS man in Monterey a couple years back, and I haven’t quite gotten over it.

  3. Well you know what they say: In California, people say “have a nice day” and mean “fuck you,” whereas in New York they say “fuck you” and mean “have a nice day.”

    I haven’t spent a lot of time in NoCal, but SoCal makes me itch.

  5. HA! yes that’s true in my experience of the NoCal peeps. I haven’t spent time in the southern parts aside from LAX and “hey there really is a dome of smog over the city” and “yeah it would suck to have to drive everywhere for an hour”.

    Yes, in NYC probably the nicest thing a stranger can do is call someone an asshole on your behalf. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.

    But then, so does wine.
