WriteRoom is designed to help you block out all the visual noise and distractions of your computer, hiding toolbars and so forth, while Mariner Write is to be an alternative to Microsoft Word. If 500,000 people download the bundle, getting 5 free applications to try no matter what happens, they’ll unlock the license to Mariner Write and everyone will get that for free too.
